Palme d’Or

Gardner Interior Concepts is proudly associated with the recently-completed Palme d’Or Project at the award-winning Oasis Luxury Retirement Resort in Century City.

Palme d’Or – meaning Golden Palm – is the fourth apartment block in the Resort, named after the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival. As such, it is “unashamedly upmarket”, according to Colin Green a director of the developer, the Oasis Joint Venture which comprises the Rabie Property Group and a Harries Projects consortium.

The 43 luxury apartments, featuring one, two and three bedroom options boasts top of the range finishes, covered terraces and air conditioning. The size of the apartments range from 94 square meters to 228 square meters. Almost all of the apartments have utility rooms and every one-bedroom apartment has a study. These luxury apartments are priced from R2.6m to R8.5m. All the apartments have basement parking and some have a store-room.

This 11-storey apartment block was developed at a cost of R220m and is served by two lifts and a 24-hour concierge.

Patrick Gardner (Gardner Interior Concepts) comments on the project:

“Oasis – Palme d’Or is finally complete. We started last year November… We were brought onto the project three months late and had to complete 50 apartments (kitchens, bedrooms, TV units, servers) all with different specifications and various client changes in a very challenging environment, within 7 months. Our teams nailed it once again and our client, the Rabie Property Group, is over the moon with the quality of our service.
